Coral calcium, as the name implies, is a dietary supplement that includes the calcium carbonate from sea creatures, mainly coral. Many consider coral calcium to be the best form of calcium to take, helping to dramatically strengthen bones. Many other claims about coral calcium have been made, including it's ability to cure diseases like Alzheimer's and Lupus, as well as some forms of cancer. However, scientific studies have not been able to duplicate many of these claims, so only time will tell how accurate any of them are. When shopping for coral calcium, be aware that numerous misleading products have been manufactured, some of which do not even contain coral calcium, but just regular calcium instead.
